NEW ORLEANS (press release) – In celebration of the 56 Louisiana artists included in the exhibition, Louisiana Contemporary, Presented by The Helis Foundation, admission to Ogden Museum of Southern Art will be FREE on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The free admission day will feature:
- Music by DJ Heelturn
- A family-friendly scavenger hunt inspired by Louisiana Contemporary, Presented by The Helis Foundation! Complete the scavenger hunt and submit responses through the online form to be entered to win a family membership to the Museum ($125 value), a voucher for a day of winter holiday camp ($45 value) and an Ogden Museum Art Box ($45 value). Winners will be contacted Monday, Dec. 7.
- Outdoor Market with local vendors, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Come do some holiday shopping!
- Plus Ogden Museum is collecting food for Second Harvest Food Bank. See the suggested donation item list here.
