Building on the success of LFNO’s cherished Marché d’Hiver, Carnaval Français aims to establish LFNO as Louisiana’s premier French school event. The event seeks to inspire curious minds, celebrate the state’s rich French heritage, emphasize the importance of bilingual learning, promote global citizenship, and showcase the vibrant beauty and diversity of the Francophone world.
Highlights of Carnaval Français include:
– Live Music: Enjoy mesmerizing melodies from Grammy Award-winning Lost Bayou Ramblers, Big Easy Award-winning Amanda Shaw, LFNO’s own student band Peer Pressure and LFNO staff member/musician Caroline Cotte.
– Exciting Activities: Thrilling games and activities for children of all ages, ensuring a day of fun and laughter.
– Gastronomic Delights: Savor the flavors of New Orleans with culinary delights from renowned local chefs and vendors, including Hogs for the Cause.
