NEW ORLEANS (press release) – French Truck Coffee has announced the release of a new seasonal blend just in time for New Orleans’ spring festival season with a portion of proceeds going to Roots of Music. Festin’ is a blend of Columbian and Peruvian coffees which are bright, juicy and fruit forward with undertones of caramel, cocao, and red apple. Festin’ is available in whole bean, drip, iced coffee and French press grinds.
“I am honored to be a partner with Roots of Music because what this organization does for the kids of our city is nothing short of transformational,” said Geoffrey Meeker, owner of French Truck Coffee. “The contributions we can make to these kids is an investment in not only their future but the future of New Orleans.” Roots of Music empowers the youth of New Orleans through music education, academic support, and mentorship, while preserving and promoting the unique musical heritage of our city. Kids ages 9 through 14 from low-income households are provided with a hot meal and round-trip transportation to the program, five days a week, 12 months out of the year.
Festin’ is available online at frenchtruckcoffee.com and at all French Truck cafés and coffee shops. Twelve ounce bags of the Festin’ blend are available for $16.50 per bag.
