NEW ORLEANS (press release) – October is National Pasta Month! Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 1, Bellegarde Bakery will offer freshly made pasta in a variety of shapes from its retail store. Bellegarde’s pasta is made with 100 percent freshly stone milled flour from the bakery and is a perfect complement to any meal. Bellegarde’s new retail bakery, located at 8300 Apple St., is open Tuesday – Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Available pasta varieties include:
- Casarecce: 100% Organic Wheat
- Malfaldine: 100% Durum Flour
- Rigatoni: 100% Durum Flour
- Spaghetti: 100% Organic Wheat
- Strozzapreti: 100% Organic Wheat
