Since opening in 1989, Krispy Krunchy Chicken has become the fastest growing convenience store quick-service restaurant in the country, with over 2,400 locations preparing their signature recipe.
2019 has already been a revolutionary year for Krispy Krunchy, starting with an updated logo and fresh, modernized branding to celebrate 30 years in business. This new look comes hand-in-hand with an initiative to evolve into a more consumer-focused marketing brand, which includes plans for new menu items, programs and store locations. One thing that hasn’t changed, though, is the company’s fresh, never frozen recipe, which blends unique flavors and spices inspired by their Cajun roots.
“The uniqueness of New Orleans in terms of food and culture helps to inspire us daily in our jobs,” said Allison Shapiro Dandry, Director of Communications and Technology.
Krispy Krunchy has been named “America’s Best Fried Chicken You Have Never Heard Of” by Thrillist and is also the official chicken of the New Orleans Pelicans. They plan to build on their momentum and continue evolving, but they will always be “Freshly Made, Perfectly Cajun.”
