From Leah Chase to Morgus the Magnificent: A Deluge of Post-Katrina Audio Podcasts, Ten Years in the Making

In this podcast, Craig Kraemer talks about when and why he decided to begin capturing post-Katrina podcast interviews. Craig recalls some of the early podcasts that he conducted in January 2006. One early interview was with famous pianist, Ronnie Kole, who was performing for an excursion barge company based in New Orleans. Craig also talks about his upcoming presentation at The Historic New Orleans Collection on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. In the presentation at the Williams Research Center, Craig will play excerpts from ten of his early podcasts. While many of us have revisited memories of devastation and loss during this tenth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Craig’s podcasts focus on the recovery and positive messages of hope.
