After far too many seasons of cancelations, reschedules, scaling back, paring down and  so much uncertainty, weddings are back and they are bigger and better than ever. It is indeed the Year of the Wedding and we are thrilled to celebrate with you.

We learned so many lessons during the pandemic that will undoubtedly stick with us and continue to influence how weddings are planned. For example, we love the resultant intimate affairs that are high on experiential elements, details and technology enabling loved ones from afar who can’t attend to share in the fun.

As pandemic precautions loosen however, we are excited to get back to fanciful food stations, maximal décor, high-energy dance parties and wilder-than-ever after parties.

In our more-is-more fashion spread, set at the lush Pontchartrain Hotel on St. Charles Avenue, we are sounding the horn on multi-day fêtes with any and every opportunity for a wardrobe change and an even greater attention to detail when it comes to ways to impress your guests.

In so many words, over-the-top is trending — and we are here for it.

Whether you go big and bold or sweet and petite, you’ll find everything you need to create your dream day (or days) in this issue. As always, we’re honored to be part of your celebrations, in good times and in bad. But we are especially happy that now the days are mostly the former again and we are ready to let the good times roll!

Cheers!
