NEW ORLEANS – Galatoire’s announced the restaurant and bar is hosting a Kentucky Derby Watch party and hat contest in Bar “33” (215 Bourbon St.) on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 3-6 p.m.
Organizers shared that the events will include fanfare, drink specials and classic Derby bites. There is limited seating for the event, so the hosts urge interested guest to purchase tickets soon.
Grand Stand tickets are $20 per person and include Bar “33” general admission, passed hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and signature cocktails featuring Pinhook Bourbon. A curated Derby menu from Galatoire’s Executive Chef Phillip Lopez will also be available.
There’s a second ticket options for Box Seat tickets. These tickets at $40 per person and include Bar “33” general admission, reserved seating in the 33 dining room, passed hors d’oeuvres, cash bar with drink specials and one signature cocktail.
Guests are encouraged to wear their classic Derby best for a hat contest at 5 p.m. with a special guest judge and prizes from Pinhook and Galatoire’s. There will be televisions throughout for optimal race viewing, a raffle, door prizes and more.
