Get Farm-Fresh at Acadiana Outdoor Markets

If you’re like me, you’ve avoided larger grocery stores and markets for some time now. This week, there are three pop-up markets that provide a safe, open-air setting where you can get pick locally grown produce. Farm-fresh options and items from local vendors will be available at each stop. The online event of the week is a free virtual discussion on the arts hosted by Clayton Shelvin of the ACA. Stay safe!

7/15: Downtown Coffee Talk with Clayton Shelvin: Performing Arts Director and Talent Buyer of the Acadiana Center for the Arts Clayton Shelvin will host Downtown Lafayette’s virtual coffee talk. Shelvin’s resume is extensive. The former Loyola instructor was one of the charter founders of the New Orleans Theater Alliance, and served on the Board of Directors for the New Orleans Shakespeare Festival and the Ashe Cultural Arts Center. Those who attend the virtual lecture are encouraged to pick up a coffee to-go from Rêve Coffee Roasters, Black Cafe, Carpe Diem! Gelato – Espresso Bar or the Cafe at Acadiana Center for the Arts and join Downtown supporters for an hour of coffee and conversation.

You can attend the zoom meeting on Eventbrite here.
