NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world.
What makes Giving Tuesday donations different from donations on other days? On Giving Tuesday, Facebook will match up to $8 million dollars in donations made on their platform!
Since the start of the year, Take Paws Rescue has taken in over 1,000 dogs and puppies from all across the state! Their primary vet bills are between $19,000-$25,000 every single month and this doesn’t included the numerous emergency vet visits that they have each month, too. Take Paws relies heavily on donations (both large and small) to bridge the gap between what the adoption fee covers and the actual cost of each dog’s medical expenses.
