Trey Fayard is the founder and CEO of GLO air carrier, a new type of regional air service. Following Hurricane Katrina, Trey and many of his friends and colleagues in New Orleans had difficulty getting to and from nearby cities such as Shreveport, Little Rock and Memphis. Trey began investigating the idea of starting an airline in 2010; five years later, GLO is a reality. The new air service provider will celebrate its inaugural flights from New Orleans on November 15, 2015. The air carrier will offer affordable daily non-stop, round-trip service from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) to airports in Shreveport, Little Rock, and Memphis. The fledging air carrier has 30 employees. “We are proud of the economic impact we are bringing here to the city”, Trey notes.
