On March 20, Temple Sinai’s annual fundraising soiree proved that there’s much fun to be had at synagogue.
More than 100 guests filled the building at 6 p.m. as musician Anais St. John worked the piano keys. The night began with a patron party where guests enjoyed beverages from Republic Beverage Co., and the Goldring and Franco families. At dinner, partygoers sampled hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Rommel’s Catering, entrées from Domenica Restaurant and dessert from Melissa’s Fine Pastries.
The event continued with the raffle of a 14 K gold necklace, courtesy of Friend & Company Fine Jewelers. Mr. and Mrs. Julian Feibelman Jr. received the necklace, while the next item that was raffled, a 42-inch HDTV, went to Serena Pollack.
The honorees at this year’s fundraiser, Mr. and Mrs. Moise Steeg, were unable to attend the event because of illness.
However, Rabbi Cohn commended the couple on their “personal standards to elevate the world.”
Funds were raised at the event to promote future temple activities and support community services.
