NEW ORLEANS – Following the tragedy in the French Quarter on New Year’s Day, the Greater New Orleans Foundation (GNOF) announced the launch of the New Year’s Day Tragedy Fund.
The aim of the fund, at the request of Mayor LaToya Cantrell and other community leaders, is to help the families of the victims who had their lives taken or were seriously injured in the French Quarter attack.
The fund is supported by donations, which you can make here or by making a check payable to the Greater New Orleans Foundation, indicating “New Orleans New Year’s Day Tragedy Fund” on the memo line.
