GW Fins Hosts Summer Dinner Experiences

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – GW Fins has curated a summer filled with seafood-focused special events, beginning with Restaurant Week June 16-22

For Restaurant Week, Executive Chef Michael Nelson shares he and his team will be creating a three course, nighty-changing menu that will be offered for $56 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

Deep Sea BBQ Week – June 29-July 3 – Featuring Executive Chef Michael Nelson’s Deep Sea BBQ Platter, including “pulled” Swordfish, Tuna “brisket,” Redfish cracklins’, spoonbread, pickles and slaw for $35.  Make it a Bourbon and BBQ Feast with our suggested Bourbon Pairing – Still Austin Bourbon, chosen for its sweet, spicy and fruity notes.

Swordfish Swap Week – July 6-10 – Savor a special menu highlighting Swordfish in a variety of dishes that are traditionally made with pork, including Muffaletta Sliders, Swordfish Bolognese, Swordfish Bacon BLT.

Crabfest Week  – July 13-17 – Savor a variety of Louisiana Blue Crab Dishes, including GW Fins’ beloved Crab Potstickers, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, Soft Shell Crab, Corn & Crab Chowder and Crab Claws with Thai Citrus Aioli.

Tuna Everything Week – July 20-24 – If you love Tuna, you’re not going to want to miss this delicious week!  GW Fins will be highlighting locally caught Louisiana Tuna served in several hot, chilled and raw dishes.  Some of the featured dishes will include Tuna Poke & Sashimi, Tartare, Firecracker Tacos, Smoked Tuna Dip, and Seared Tuna with Sweet Soy Butter.

Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Lunch – Tuesday, July 22 – If you love Tequila, we’ve got an incredible culinary experience that you’re not going to want to miss! 

GW Fins is hosting their first ever Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Lunch on Tuesday, July 22, featuring some of Cristalino’s finest Tequilas paired with a spectacular 4-Course Mexican Seafood Menu crafted by Executive Chef Michael Nelson.
