#Ham4Ham Lottery Announced for “Hamilton” in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Broadway in New Orleans presented by Entergy announced a digital lottery for “Hamilton” tickets will begin in conjunction with the show’s first performance (April 8) in New Orleans at the Saenger Theatre.  A limited number of tickets will be available for every performance for $10 each. The lottery will first open at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 28, and will close at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, for tickets to performances from April 8 – April 13.  Subsequent digital lotteries will begin each Friday and close the following Thursday for the upcoming week’s performances.

How to Enter:

  • Use the official app for “Hamilton,” now available for all iOS and Android devices in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store (https://hamiltonmusical.com/app).
  • The lottery will open at 10 a.m. every Friday and will close for entry at 12:30 p.m. the next Thursday prior to the following week’s performances.
  • Winner notifications will be sent starting at 1 p.m. every Thursday for the upcoming week’s performances via email and mobile push notification.  Winners will have two hours to claim and pay for their ticket(s). 
  • No purchase or payment necessary to enter or participate.
  • Each winning entrant may purchase up to two (2) tickets. 
  • Only one entry per person. Repeat entries and disposable email addresses will be discarded.
  • Lottery tickets may be picked up at will call beginning 2 hours prior to the performance with a valid photo ID.
  • Lottery tickets void if resold.
  • All times listed are in the local time zone. 

Tickets are subject to availability. Limit of two tickets per patron. In some cases, tickets may be partial view and, while every effort will be made to seat multiple seats together, there is a chance that seats may be split up. Tickets can be picked up at the Box Office at The Saenger Theatre with a photo ID starting one hour before the performance time.

Student Rush:

Broadway in New Orleans, presented by Entergy, will also offer special Student Rush Tickets for $30 to the New Orleans engagement of “Hamilton.” Students simply need to bring valid college student identification with them to the Saenger Theatre Box Office beginning two hours prior to each performance. The Student Rush Ticket price will be valid for evening performances ONLY with a two-ticket limit per student ID. Student Rush Tickets are subject to restrictions.
