NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Jefferson Chamber partnered with local cover band and Chamber member, Bag of Donuts, to create a fun music video to encourage the community to maintain good health by staying home and washing your hands during the COVID-19 pandemic. Played to the tune of Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond, the band encourages the public to “Please Wash Your Hands.”
For more than 30 years, the New Orleans natives who comprise the Bag of Donuts have covered songs from every era while performing at various venues, ranging from festivals to weddings. The Bag of Donuts was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame last year and has received Offbeat Magazine’s “Best of the Beat” award for the past four years.
