Hayley Paige

Hayley Paige has taken the bridal fashion world by storm. Her youth and vibrancy bring a refreshing energy to the world of tulle, lace and sparkle. Paige’s short time as a member of the bridal elite has proven her tenacity and eye for design. Learning from Nina Garcia as an Elle Magazine intern and earning a degree from the Cornell University School of Design, Paige was more than prepared to enter into the world of fashion. On the JLM Couture designer biography page, Paige says if you asked her what she wanted to do as a child, her answer would have been to design wedding dresses. Her dream has led her to amazing opportunities and has given women all over the world a chance to wear the beautiful designs of Blush and Hayley Paige Bridal.

Today’s look is from Paige’s Spring 2015 line. The collection is full of romantic fabrics and flowing designs. The use of cashmere and lace match perfectly with the form-flattering angles of her fit to flare gowns and ball gowns adorned with cascading layers of leather and tulle.
Paige expresses that she names each of her designs to specifically identify certain character traits of the woman that would wear the dress.

Our spotlight design today is the Meilani dress. This dress is an ivory, silk satin fit to flare bridal gown. Accented with an elongated bodice with side cut out and a soft scoop neckline. The full skirt has tiers of pleated English net and organza. A studded leather harness is detachable and sold separately. This option gives the dress two very different voices.

At once sweet and sassy, we recommend long, flowing hair and big, dramatic curls. Add in a cat-eye, but keep the rest of the makeup soft. Try a pretty pink lip like the Tom Ford Chastity. Continue the sweet pink down to the tips of your fingers with the Tom Ford Pink Crush. Add a pink and lavender bouquet with gold and green accents to top off the simple, perfect look.

If you decide to remove the leather accent, consider it an opportunity to amp up your look. Bring bold colors into your lip and bouquet to add the drama back into your dress.
