Louisiana Blue has expanded access to MyLABlue, its digital member platform, to include Medicare Advantage members. With MyLABlue, Louisiana Blue commercial and Medicare Advantage members can now easily and securely access their health plan information – anytime, anywhere.
Use the MyLABlue platform to view and use your digital ID card, find in-network healthcare providers or clinics, securely message Customer Service representatives, check the status of certain prior authorization requests – and more! Blue Advantage members can access their Flex Card and Healthy Rewards through MyLABlue. Members also have the option to share health information with a family member, caretaker, or authorized delegate through MyLABlue.

Manning Family Children’s
Manning Family Children’s is proud to announce plans to build a new 60-bed Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to support growth of our regionally-leading neonatology program. The new flagship unit will anchor Children’s regional network and address a critical need for expanded capacity and advanced neonatal care as the only program in Louisiana and the Gulf South with every pediatric medical and surgical specialty under one roof.
The project will increase the hospital’s current NICU capacity from 35 to 60 beds, expanding the LCMC Health regional neonatal network to nearly 200 beds. Offering the highest level of neonatal intensive care available, our expert team stands ready to receive babies born as early as 22 weeks, many weighing barely a pound. Their survival depends on the swift intervention, specialized equipment, and expert care with compassion provided by the state’s top pediatric subspecialists from both LSU Health New Orleans and Tulane University School of Medicine.
Poydras Home
Poydras Home Reimagined is Louisiana’s first Green House® Project community—this revolutionary care approach makes each resident the central decision-maker in their own daily life. Poydras Home constructed two new buildings to house five Nursing Care homes and one Assisted Living Memory Care home. The Green House model groups a smaller number of residents to share each house, led by a small team of consistent Care Partners specially trained to make each day personally meaningful.
Homes feature open floor plans and access to Poydras Home’s ample green spaces. Poydras Home’s interior campus was also transformed into a Center for Healthy Living to benefit all residents, offering a therapy gym, fitness center, yoga studio, library, meditative space, expanded salon and spa, café, and multipurpose space for programming and education. Poydras Home worked with Eskew Dumez Ripple architects to ensure the structural changes were adaptive while still rooted in aesthetic traditions.
Poydras Home now also offers Assisted Living Respite Memory Care.
