Heat Up Happy Hours

How hot are y’all? As the temperatures rise in the city, so do drink specials. New Orleans is really seeing fun deals and a lot more people getting out and about (albeit COVID-safe). If you are in that number, here are a few places to try out.

Bar Frances ( 4525 Freret St.) happy hour runs from Sunday though Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Some of the options include fun deals like a pickle back shot. You can also have $7 draft beers, house punch and select cocktails. This is a fun and hip atmosphere that you are sure to enjoy.

Barrel Proof (1201 Magazine St.) is snuggled nicely in a great neighborhood with a lot of local flare. Happy hour deals here are Monday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Some of the options include $5 mini margaritas and Old Fashioned’s. If you haven’t been here, there is an extensive menu full of flavorful drinks and eats.

Dat Dog (5030 Freret St.) is a laid-back eatery that also has a drink menu and a fun happy hour sure to satisfy your taste buds. Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. you can enjoy a gourmet dog along with $3 well drinks and $1 off all draft beers. It’s a lively atmosphere and you can enjoy the sounds of the city while sipping away.

These are of course just a few places to try. If you have a great happy hour you want us to check out, please let us know so we can share it with cocktail lovers everywhere.

Cheers!
