Seventeen McGehee High School seniors recently teamed up to start at girl revoluton – a "Girlution" – to benefit adolescent girls in Guatemala, Liberia, Ethopia and Malawi. Girlution falls under GirlUp, a UN Foundation program that raises funds to benefit the 600 million girls who are surviving on less than $2 a day. The group hopes to provide food and clean water, school supplies and health care to these girls, who range from 10 to 19 years old.
