Fun times were had by all at the fourth annual Celebrity Waiter Brunch, benefitting the American Cancer Society. Held at Andrea’s Restaurant on Sunday, June 28, guests crowded around tables of up to 10 people for their delectable three-course meals, with local famous personalities acting as the waiters to cater to their needs.
This year’s waiters were: State Representative Jean Paul Morrell; pediatric dentist Dr. Jason Parker; John Osterlind and Robyn Walensky of WRNO Radio; and Vince Vance of Vince Vance & the Valiants. Each celebrity waiter came up with a theme for their table to entertain their patrons, and guests tipped extra for utensils, salt and pepper, napkins. Singing and dancing was also encouraged for heartier tips, as one waiter walked away with a coveted Big Tipper Award. Awards were also given for most creative table and best-dressed waiter. All proceeds from the outrageously fun afternoon went to the American Cancer Society.
