NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Historic New Orleans Collection (HNOC) asks that you join them for a special panel discussion reflecting on the 50th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon, presented in conjunction with Making It Home: From Vietnam to New Orleans.
The program will open with a presentation by military historian Dr. Heather Stur, followed by a conversation HNOC says will blend historical oversight and powerful personal stories from refugee and community organizer John-Hoá Nguyen, Vietnam veteran Man Pham, and HNOC Senior Historian Mark Cave. Don’t miss a rare opportunity to hear reflections on war, displacement, and resilience from those who experienced this pivotal moment in history.
After the program, attendees are invited to explore the exhibition and enjoy a light reception catered by Chef Anh Luu.
Admission is free with registration required.
