Storytime at the Museum
Dec. 14, 17, 21, 28 | 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Spark your child’s love of history with our WWII-themed storytime experience. December’s featured book is The Christmas Doll: A Repair Shop Story by Amy Sparkes, and families will make holiday-themed crafts.
Victory Belles Ring in the Season

The Victory Belles bring you the gift of song in a brand-new holiday concert. Backed by the Museum’s own Victory Six Band, the Belles will perform yuletide favorites in their signature three-part harmony in this festive musical revue.
Family Night at Expressions of America

Join the Museum for our monthly Family Night at Expressions of America—with a special holiday twist! A nighttime spectacular for all ages, Expressions of America is an immersive outdoor sound and light show that brings history to life on a grand scale. Families can enjoy the holiday fun with a visit from Santa, festive tunes from the Victory Belles, and more.
Wartime Piano New Year’s Eve Happy Hour
Dec. 31 | 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
New Year’s Eve celebrations at the Museum kick off with a lively showcase of wartime piano music. Guests can enjoy an open bar as they tap along to 1940s hits and learn how these tunes coincided with significant events of World War II.
Dine & Dance New Year’s Eve Bash!
Dec. 31 | 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
Guests will ring in 2025 with the unrivaled sounds of the Museum’s Victory Swing Orchestra, a four-course dinner, open beer and wine bar, and a celebratory Champagne toast at midnight.
Réveillon Menus at Cafe Normandie
Brunch: Available Saturdays and Sundays through Jan. 5, 2025
Dinner: Available Friday–Monday through Jan. 6, 2025
Indulge in a New Orleans holiday dining tradition like no other with a four-course Réveillon dinner or three-course brunch at Café Normandie, the hotel’s French-influenced full-service restaurant. The menus hearken back to many of the flavors of home and the warm welcome that American soldiers received in Normandy following D-Day. Réveillon brunch guests will also receive complimentary limited access to the Museum.
