NEW ORLEANS (press release) – On Saturday, Dec. 19, the NOLA Tree Project will host its annual Holiday Fruit Tree Sale. From 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Louisiana citrus trees will be on sale at the Ye Old College Inn Gardens at 3000 S. Carrollton Ave.
The Becnel Farms trees will be $40 each and the selection includes Meyer lemon, Ruby Red grapefruit and three types of satsumas. Additionally, Arbequina (Spanish) olive trees will be on sale for $45 and Joey Avocado trees are available for $50.
