For the 32nd year, the Preservation Resource Center hosted its Holiday Home Tour, complete with holiday splendor, beautiful artwork and exquisite architecture. Seven private homes in the Garden District were open for tours, raising money for the PRC’s Homeowner Assistance and Neighborhood Recovery Fund.
The weekend kicked off with a patron party at the Crawford House with culinary treats from Bacco Restaurant. Then, doors opened on Dec. 8 and 9, 2007, for self-guided tours where guests were able to enjoy live musical performances and dine on cuisine catered by Palate; they also purchased unique New Orleans gifts and stocking stuffers from more than 40 local vendors.
The welcoming hosts for the weekend home tours included: Mrs. Jack R. Aron; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bortner; Mr. and Mrs. John Macgregor Fox Jr.; Mr. and Mrs. Keene Kelley; Mr. and Mrs. Edmund E. Redd; Mrs. Catherine Tremaine; and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Beckman.
