An Italianate Villa celebrating its 150th birthday was the Garden District site of the Preservation Resource Center’s Holiday Home Tour Patron Party. This Third Street mansion – the home of Shirley and Frank Sinclair – hosted the approximately 375 attendees, who turned out to support the PRC. Despite the dreary weather on Friday, December 13, patrons clad in their best cocktail attire gathered under the backyard tent of the Sinclairs to enjoy gourmet treats from Ralph Brennan’s Bacco; birthday cakes from NOLA Beans; and the musical stylings of New Orleans Banjos + 2.

Many board members were in attendance, including President Holly Sharp Snodgrass (and husband Geoff), Vice President Hal Williamson, Secretary Anne Redd, and Treasurer Randy Opotowsky. Holiday Home Tour Chairs Dodie Powers and Mary Grace Rome were two of many attendees of note, a list that also included Patron Party Chairs Becca Fox and Jeanne Boughton. The 34th annual Holiday Home Tour raised more than $150,000 for the PRC, who strive to promote the preservation, restoration and revitalization of New Orleans’ historic architecture and neighborhoods.
