Project Lazarus’ annual dinner and awards benefit, which contributed funds to the care of its residents, was held March 13, at the Hilton New Orleans St. Charles Hotel.
Co-chaired by Cynthia Molyneaux and Mark Romig, the event honored the “2008 Guardian Angels,” restaurant consultant Vicky Bayley and communications executive Jim Lestelle.
During a dinner that was catered by three John Besh restaurants (August, Luke and Besh Steakhouse), the New Orleans String Project performed.
The Project Lazarus was founded out of compassion and service to all people and provides service to all people living with AIDS who can no longer live
independently or whose family and friends can no longer take care of them. Its primary purpose is to provide continuity of are in a homelike environment and the project is dedicating to enhancing the quality of life of those that it serves.
