NEW ORLEANS (press release) – This year, during Tales of the Cocktail, as the Hotel Monteleone celebrates its 140th anniversary, the iconic property is hosting a sip and shop experience in partnership with New Orleans jewelry designer Mignon Faget held in the Criollo Gardens space.
Beyond the sip and shop, the two legacy brands have collaborated on a custom glassware design inspired by the hotel’s legendary Carousel Bar, bringing together two cherished New Orleans institutions in a celebration of the city’s enduring spirit and style.

On Wednesday, July 22, The Monteleone will host a sip and shop experience for locals, travelers and hotel guests alike to stop by and experience handcrafted cocktails, light bites from the Criollo Restaurant team, and a curated selection of Mignon Faget New Orleans-inspired favorites featuring the Oysters Rockefeller and Bowl of Gumbo Necklaces along with the Bloody Mary and Cafe au Lait Necklaces to pair with your favorite cocktails. Guests also have the opportunity to purchase beautifully crafted custom glassware, a lasting memento of this special occasion and their time in New Orleans.
