NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Criollo Restaurant at the Hotel Monteleone will embrace the local tradition and launch a weekly “The Friday Fixe” experience starting this Friday, March 14, where diners can indulge in a three-course pre-fixe lunch menu, sip $1 martinis, and to top it all off, enjoy it all stress-free with complimentary parking, validated at the restaurant’s host stand.
Starting at $27 per person, the menu kicks off with a Mediterranean Persimmon Salad with arugula, radicchio, grapefruit, pistachio, pomegranate and creamy feta vinaigrette. Entrée options include a Grilled Lemon Fish with roasted corn maque choux, bacon, cherry tomatoes, creamless corn sauce, citrus vinaigrette and pea shoots; Veal Monteleone with roasted mushrooms, linguini, marsala sauce and the option to elevate with Jumbo Lump Crab; or Cacio e Pepe with cracked tri-color pepper, pecorino Romano and bucatini. To finish, guests can enjoy a decadent Olive Oil Cake with white chocolate Chantilly, candied orange peel and orange anglaise.
And, of course, no Friday in New Orleans is complete without $1 martinis before seamlessly transitioning to happy hour and live music around the Carousel Bar and evening festivities in the French Quarter.
