NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Hyatt Regency New Orleans is thrilled to share the return of Pride Prom NOLA 2024. In partnership with various organizations including PFLAG New Orleans, Jewish Pride NOLA, Human Rights Campaign, CrescentCare, Mardi Gras Productions, Covenant House, and Paper Doll Promotions, we’re excited to host this incredible event designed to provide a safe and celebratory space for LGBTQ youths in the Greater New Orleans area.
This year’s Pride Prom is featuring an All Us In Wonderland theme, promising an unforgettable evening of dancing, photo ops, complimentary food and non-alcoholic drinks. Special performances will be held by The Pussyfooters and Big Freedia. Attendees will also have the opportunity to compete for Prom Royalty with a Strut-Off competition.
In addition to the festivities, representatives from local LGBTQ organizations will have booths in the hotel lobby, providing resources and support for attendees. For those looking to support Pride Prom NOLA, donations can be made through the Pride Prom NOLA 2024 Donation Page.
Hyatt Regency New Orleans is honored to host this important event in partnership with organizations committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for LGBTQ youths in our community. Pride Prom NOLA 2024 will be held on Friday, May 24, from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., at Hyatt Regency New Orleans in the Celestin Ballroom.
