Cocktail aficionados gathered in New Orleans from July 18 to 22 for the annual “Tales of the Cocktail,” a cocktail and culinary festival that celebrates the culture and history of dining and drinking in the city.
French Quarter venues, including the Hotel Monteleone, the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum, the Cabildo, the Napoleon House, and other great locales hosted seminars, delicious meals and of course,spirited parties.
“Tales of the Cocktail” was started by Ann Rogers in 2003 and continues to draw people from near and far, boosting tourism and merriment in the city. Proceeds benefit the New Orleans Culinary and Cultural Preservation Society, which seeks to preserve New Orleans’ dining and drinking history, raise funds for the hospitality industry and produce this annual event.
