In Memoriam: Archbishop Philip Matthew Hannan, 1913-2011

From the 2009 interview:

Archbishop Hannan served as Archbishop of New Orleans from 1965 to 1989; at age 96, he is now the oldest living Archbishop in the world. I had the privilege to speak to the Archbishop at his residence on the North shore of Lake Pontchartrain and learned that this 96 year old is as full of life as he ever was. A World War II veteran, the Archbishop compared the rebuilding of New Orleans to the rebuilding of European cities following WWII. Listen here.
