NEW ORLEANS (press release) – It’s a great time to freshen up your home garden and just in time, the New Orleans Botanical Garden in City Park is bringing back in-person plant sales. Visit the Pelican Greenhouse Plant Sales for a large selection of plants including native plants to Louisiana. Many plants are propagated from cuttings, seeds, and divisions from plants already growing in the Botanical Garden.
Entrance to the greenhouse is limited to 25 people at one time. Face masks covering the nose and mouth are required and we ask you remain at least 6 feet from others while inside or while waiting in line. To allow for physical distancing, event dates have moved from one day a month to Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays each week.
Insider tips: Bring a wagon and arrive early for best selection.
