Owner, Sensible Meals
Every day, Ingrid Rinck helps the local economy grow while shrinking waistlines across the country. What began out of a mother’s love to save her child is now the largest meal prep company in the country. Based in Greater New Orleans, Sensible Meals has been repeatedly recognized by organizations and publications with several “Best Meal Prep and Weight Loss” designations. This summer, the company is adding new kitchens and chefs, upgraded meats, and vacuum sealed packaging.
As Owner of Sensible Meals, Rinck is at the helm of an ultra-successful business employing over 1,200 people. She founded the company in 2014, following her son’s Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis. As a fitness industry veteran with over 20 years of experience, she immersed herself in all she could learn about nutrition and health and altered her family’s diet. In doing so, she lost 100 excess pounds herself in just 10 months. Today, Sensible Meals is founded on those same weight-loss principles.
Knowing what it’s like to be hardworking, Rinck has developed a workforce at Sensible Meals that is 98 percent women. Her passion for helping people is as important to her as the success of her business.
She is a member of the American Heart Association Circle of Red and a corporate sponsor of the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation. Rinck also founded the Leading Ladies League, an organization working to empower local women.
