As a culture, we tend to prize a full, lustrous head of hair. Excepting those who rock a beautiful bald head, by choice or heredity, most people work hard to keep what they have or look to products and potions to amp up the volume, so to speak. As with many deep beauty fixes, there’s […]

The Bastion site is located on 5.5 acres in the Gentilly neighborhood of New Orleans. Designed by architect Jonathan Tate, the development of 78 residential units along with a Wellness Center and common areas is underway and progressing in two phases. Bastion is one mile from City Park and Bayou St. John, and ten minutes from the new VA Medical Center. This project will serve as a replicable model for national expansion. Warriors and families will live in a planned community alongside other purpose-driven adults. The community will be designed to foster informal neighboring and enduring relationships. Our goal is for residents to maximize independence in the home and age in place.
