Raintree Children and Family Services hosted its “Paint the Town Green” fundraiser on Saturday, March 10. Event Chairs Deborah Alciatore and Cindy Paulin ensured patrons parading in green enjoyed the St. Patrick’s Day-themed fundraiser.
A patron party hosted by Ruth’s Chris Steak House preceded the main event and took place at the 528 Club on Fulton Street. Afterwards, the fundraising gala took place at the Harrah’s New Orleans Theatre.
Local restaurants including Drago’s, Gordon Biersch, Grand Isle, GW Fins, La Louisiane Bakery, Le Foret, Mannings, Mr. Mudbug, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and The Velvet Cactus provided food and drinks for the event.
Attendants could participate in a live auction presented by auctioneer Brett Bauman or a silent auction that included trips, artwork, wine, jewelry and fine dining. Guests also enjoyed music provided by Burgundy.
For 85 years, Raintree Children and Family Services has dedicated itself to providing non-profit services such as family service coordination, family foster care and educational support programs for the children and families of New Orleans.
