A light projected cake with the number 16 shone on the Lambeth House plaza on October 16 for the retirement home’s “Sweet Sixteen” birthday. Over 225 partygoers enjoyed the cool, clear night and the sounds of the John Parker Jazz Band while giving back to a cause so personal for many of those in attendance.
Lambeth House chef John Joffe and Food and Beverage Director Stephanie Hosek catered the food, including a savory crawfish macque choux cheesecake, grilled boneless quail marsala and crab cakes remoulade. Republic National Distributing Company served libations. Candy-colored tablecloths and candy-filled centerpieces with glow sticks decorated the vicinity.
Raffle items were provided by: Hiller Jewelry, Judy at the Rink, Earthsavers, Magnolia Kinetics, Hopper’s Carte de Vins, Link Restaurant Group, and Le Petit Théâtre.
This festive, fun and young celebration raised more than $78,000 for Lambeth House.
