NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Jefferson Performing Arts Society (JPAS) and Movie Poster Archives are excited to kick off their partnership with this event and invite you to join us for this nostalgic visit to the world of “Steel Magnolias.”
Before the movie, guest speaker Ed Poole, Chief Archivist and author of over 20 books on movie posters and film history, will host a mini exhibit in the lobby and discuss original U.S. and foreign posters for “Steel Magnolias.” He’ll also share some entertaining stories about the 3 million artifacts in the Archives.
