Tulane gynecologic oncologists offer an integrated approach to the diagnosis and surgical management of women’s cancers and complex benign gynecologic diseases. These diseases include cervical cancer, endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cancer, pelvic masses, uterine cancer, vaginal cancer and vulvar cancer.
Dr. Jessica Shank is board certified in Gynecologic Oncology and Obstetrics & Gynecology. She performs radical surgery utilizing the latest minimally invasive techniques to include robotic, laparoscopic and laser surgery. She also specializes in cancer survivorship including physical and psychosocial aspects of life after surviving cancer, including sexual function and management of menopausal symptoms.
Dr. Shank is a native of Louisiana and graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine. Following her fellowship training, she served as Gynecologic Oncologist at Naval Medical Center San Diego and was the Division Director of Gynecologic Oncology.
