A wedding is a beautiful union and the joining of two families together. However, a wedding is also a celebration. In New Orleans especially, that celebration can last all night long.
But is an after party typically part of a couple’s months of planning? Not generally, since it is often handled by the bridal party or family and friends, but for those looking to take matters into their own hands and extend the celebration past last call, an after party can be the perfect finale to your Big Day.
A local club recently came back onto our radar and not only do we think this spot would be great for an after party, but also an option for bachelor and bachelorette parties or even an engagement party. Vintage Rock Club, located above Walk-Ons in the Central Business District – and right down the street from the Superdome, is a dance club that jumps back a few decades with throwback music, videos and concerts from the ‘60s through the early ‘90s. The club is open Fridays and Saturdays from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. playing music and showing movie clips from the decades on the club’s 185-inch video wall and large-screen TVs throughout the space.

For after parties or bachelor and bachelorette parties, you can reserve a VIP section to ensure a spot for the night. Reserved VIP sections also come with drink service. If you’re looking to celebrate an engagement, the club is available for private events or party rentals every day of the week.
We love this venue for any couple that likes a theme or a reason to dress in costume. In New Orleans, who doesn’t love a theme or reason to dig into their costume closet?
Reservations and inquiries about private events can be made through the club’s website here.
