NEW ORLEANS (press release) – King Brasserie & Bar, the restaurant located at Kimpton Hotel Fontenot, will offer a special Thanksgiving menu on Thursday, Nov. 28, from noon to 9 p.m. Prepared by Executive Chef Samuel Peery and team, the a la carte menu features a variety of Thanksgiving-inspired dishes with King’s signature local flavor and French flair.
The menu will include delicious starter options such as Sourdough Parker House Rolls, Chicken & Andouille Gumbo, and King’s Crawfish Beignets, as well as salad options like Covey Rise Local Lettuces. For the main course, diners can choose from options like Joyce Farms Heritage Turkey or Neuskie’s Cane Syrup Glazed Ham, both served with whipped potatoes, French bread stuffing, cane glazed Brussels sprouts, roasted turkey gravy and blood orange-cranberry sauce. Lots of sides to tempt you range from Baked Macaroni to Crispy Brussels Sprouts. For dessert, King Brasserie will offer Pumpkin Mousse with lemon ginger posset and snickerdoodle crumble as well as Bourbon Pecan Beignets with brown butter gelato and satsuma caramel.
