In the midst of a versatile real estate development career that ranged from developments in Florida to spearheading the expansion of the Avenue Garden Hotel on St. Charles Avenue and Colonial Condominiums, David Carimi began to focus his attention on creating a commercial construction firm that could offer high-quality construction and management services to other developers in the New Orleans area. Since that time, Carimi Construction and Development has led clients through a wide variety of construction projects, including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival Foundation, St. George’s Episcopal Church, Preservation Hall, Windsor Court Hotel, and the Spanish Stables, which won the VCC Project of the Year.
