NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Kingsley House is honoring its veterans enrolled in their Adult Day Care program with a special celebratory ceremony that commences with the Pledge of Allegiance and the national anthem, a gift presentation by the Kingsley House children and remarks from special guest speaker, William F. Ryan, a retired U.S. Marine Corps officer.
The event is set to take place at Kingsley House – 901 Richard St., New Orleans – Nov. 8 at 10 a.m.
The veterans honored are enrolled in the Kingsley Adult Day Care (KADC) program, licensed by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals, which provides day care in a community setting for vulnerable adults, including veterans, and offers them resources in order to live dignified, meaningful and independent lives.
