Why did you set up The Basketry? I started my business when I was 22 years old for two simple reasons: There was a huge need for “gift delivery,” as sending flowers was the only option for making someone smile. Flowers die, so I wanted to offer lasting gifts that could be hand delivered. Secondly, it isn’t only creative and fun, but also every gift creates a happy ending.
What makes you different? I can confidently say that our service is by far the most amazing you’ll ever find. My policy is quite simple: We don’t say “No.” There is nothing we won’t do to help a customer find the perfect gift.
What are some of your favorite products in store? As the buyer, I make sure that every product is a “hot” item, so customers trust us to always deliver the perfect gift.
What’s coming in that you are excited about? The fall and holiday seasons are going to be amazing! I am excited about the winter Kendra Scott collection, Le Creuset for bridal and our new apparel items. Also, there are all new gourmet and spa items for our new pine gift boxes.
What are your best sellers? Finchberry soap, Lollia body products, Kendra Scott, Pandora Jewelry, Voluspa & Tyler Candles and all of our locally curated items.
What else would you like to tell readers about? I have been very blessed over the years and giving back is important to me, which is why we have our “Give Back Initiative.” For every Big Easy Gift Box purchased we donate a shelter box.
