Chambrel Riley-Williams found her way into the port industry in 2011 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree from UNO and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Chambrel recently finished her eleven-year run at Plaquemines Port as Director of Finance. Chambrel has had the distinction of being part of the Venture Global development in Plaquemines Parish.
In 2022, Chambrel became the Chief Administrative Officer at Port of South Louisiana and has had the distinction of being part of managing economic development projects totaling over $100 million dollars while devoting herself to improving the administration capabilities of the Port by implementing a centralized ERP system throughout the Port. Chambrel is only just beginning to build on a career that has already left a lasting legacy up and down the Mississippi River.
