As Director of Development and Communications for Community Sailing New Orleans, Lynn Spearman draws on a career in fundraising and marketing to support Louisiana’s only community sailing center. A New Orleans native, she began in marketing and events before shifting to nonprofit work, launching a consulting firm focused on nonprofit strategy and establishing and leading the Development and Communications Department at Audubon Schools. At Community Sailing, she’s growing awareness and support for the mission to make sailing accessible for all. Lynn also serves on the Junior League of New Orleans Board and mentors through Loyola’s Women’s Leadership Academy.
