By evolving culinary lessons learned while working in New York City, New Orleans native Sophia Petrou Garcia, along with her husband/business-partner Chef Adolfo Garcia Jr., was able to bring a certain unique level of style and dining to an eager Gulf South culinary audience. With Dolfy’s, their second collaboration after Chi Chi’s, the first Korean Fried Chicken restaurant in New Orleans, Sophia and Chef Adolfo created a sit-down restaurant that transports diners to Basque Country and the Iberian Peninsula through wood-fire cooking and fresh ingredients, both local and shipped directly from Spain. A truly transformative dining experience, Sophia took direct inspiration from several trips to San Sebastian, creating a hideaway where it is easy to forget you are dining on Freret Street.
Embraced by both the city and neighborhood, Sophia has forged a team and social environment that is both unique and comforting, as the finest dining experiences are always meant to be.
