An unveiling of a George Rodrigue artwork, an art auction and a donation by StuderGroup (a health care consultation organization) were part of the gala activities at the Acadiana Center for the Arts held Oct. 6. The occasion was the celebration of Lafayette General Medical Center’s 100th anniversary. The event, which included cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and music by Feufollet, was also the setting for revealing a shadowbox depicting the medical center’s 100-year history. Proceeds from the $100-a-person black tie event were dedicated to the newly formed Lafayette General Foundation.
