METAIRIE, La (press release) – Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home & Cemeteries invites the Greater New Orleans community to attend an All Saints’ Day celebration with an outdoor mass to be celebrated by Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond in front of the All Saints Mausoleum located in Metairie Cemetery. The mass is a long-standing tradition at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home to honor loved ones who have passed. All Saints’ Day, also known as All Hallows’ Day, is a Christian tradition that commemorates the lives of all Christian saints, known and unknown. After the mass, refreshments and a commemorative gift will be available for attendees.
