Sip, shop & celebrate back to school on Thursday, July 25 at Lakeside Shopping Center as we celebrate the start of a new school year!
If you haven’t already heard, Lakeside Shopping Center and St. Charles Avenue partnered to recognize extraordinary teachers in the New Orleans area who go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of their students. We are now proud to announce the winners of the A+ Back to School Makeover Contest! It was a tough decision as we received nominations for deserving teachers from 37 different schools in Jefferson, Orleans, St. Tammany, St. John the Baptist, St. Charles and St. Bernard Parishes. From those nominations the following exceptional teachers were selected:
Jeannine Thibodeaux, 3rd grade teacher at St. Benilde School
Erica Rosher, high school teacher at Kenner Discovery
Ravin Edwards, 9th grade teacher at John Ehret High School
The three winning teachers will receive a new outfit, makeup application and hairstyle all from Lakeside Shopping Center. They will be revealing their new looks at the Summer Wine Down event at Lakeside Shopping Center July 25 from 5-8 p.m. We hope you will join us in celebrating these wonderful educators.
St. Charles Avenue would like to thank the following Lakeside Shopping Center retailers who are dressing and styling our winning teachers: Ann Taylor, Bare Minerals, J. Jill, Jean Therapy, Mac Cosmetics, Mignon Faget, Naturalizer, Paris Parker Aveda Salon & Spa, Soft Surroundings, White House Black Market.
In addition to honoring our A+ Teachers, the Summer Wine Down event will feature wine tastings provided by Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar including:
